The glories of Sridhama Mayapur are unlimited and inconceivable, as it is the abode of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His associates wherein “the concluding portions of the pastimes of Gokula exist eternally as the pastimes of Navadvipa.” (Brahma-samhita 5.5). In this divine realm the Lord tastes love of Godhead Himself in the mood of Srimati
The following is an excerpt from the book, The Glories and Pastimes of Srimate Radharani by His Holiness Bhakti Purushottama Swami. It is an amazing recounting of the origin and creation of Sri Mayapur-dhama by Radharani Herself, for the pleasure of Lord Krishna. This gives us an inkling into the inconceivable purity of Sridham Mayapur

This is perhaps the most important and celebrated time of the year for ISKCON devotees, apart from Gaur Purnima. The specialty of this time is that practically in the space of one thirty-day period alone we rejoice at the appearance of our four most worshipable divinities, Sri Baladeva, Sri Krishna, Srimate Radharani and Srila Prabhupada.
Radhastami, the divine appearance of Srimate Radharani, the hladini sakti pleasure potency and eternal consort of Sri Krishna, is almost more sacred to Gaudiya Vaisnavas than Janmastami. Without the mercy and blessings of Radha we cannot approach the sweetness of Vraja seva and entrance into the supremely pure loving mellow and pastimes of madhurya rasa,
This time of the year is most eagerly awaited by all devotees as it is filled with constant festivals such as Balarama Jayanti, Janmastami, Radhastami and Srila Prabhupada’s Vyasa Puja celebration. In Mayapur we take these festivals very seriously, being that it is the World Headquarters for ISKCON and the janmasthan of our beloved Lord
On this most auspicious occasion of the appearance day of Srimati Radharani, we at the TOVP would like to extend our best wishes to all of you. We hope that on this day everyone can receive Her blessings, which are needed to attract Lord Krishna’s mercy.
