Side Dome Kalash Bracket

Today, 17th Dec 2017, was a historical day. Today we erected and installed the first bracket under the Planetarium Kalash. This is an outdoor decoration made in (GRC) Glass Reinforced Concrete. Metal Casting

Last week in our GRC Factory we experimented with metal casting into a sand mold. We made our fresh Copper based alloy with Nickel, Silicone, Bismuth, Zinc and Aluminum. This alloy creates a non- leaded yellow brass. Our experimental melting furnace runs on regular kitchen gas and it has a maximum temperature of 1,600 °C / 2,912 °F.

GRC Dome Brackets

We have completed our first bracket for the Kalash on the Planetarium Wing Dome. The bracket weighs 850 kilograms (1,874 lbs). The brackets for the Main Dome will be twice the size and will weigh 1,200 kg (2,646 lbs) each. Each Dome will have 24 brackets, and we have 3 Domes. Thus, the GRC factory
