Srimati Radharani: In Supreme Devotion

Mayapur is forever alive with spiritual celebration – come sweltering heat or torrential rains, the devotees always have the opportunity to sing and dance their hearts out. With the grand celebrations of Janmastami, and Srila Prabhupada’s Vyasapuja currently a fond memory, now we can get excited about the upcoming Radhastami celebrations!

Srimati Radharani made this wonderful Mayapur, Navadwip Dham in such a way mercifully giving us one place that is equal to all the holy places. Even in this current material age, Kaliyuga, “…Navadwip dham’s glories expand more and more” (Radhanath Swami, Yatra website).

Radharani is the topmost devotee, and her pure selfless love to Lord Krishna is the highest expression of Krishna consciousness. She is an overflowing urn of mercy, and the protecting internal energy of the Lord, so automatically by “being directly under the control of the internal potency of Krishna, devotional service attracts even Krishna Himself” (NOD pg. 16).

Radharani worshipped Krishna in the mood of separation, after Krishna left Vrindavan. This was the core mood of Lord Caitanya and the process of devotional service taught by Him and followed by us. One of the main reasons for the Lord’s advent in Kaliyuga as Mahaprabhu was to relish the position of Srimati Radharani, who is the prime reciprocator of transcendental love of Sri Krsna.

Therefore, to know the transcendental pleasure of loving Krsna, Lord Krsna Himself appeared as Lord Caitanya, accepting the emotions and bodily luster of Srimati Radharani.

For this reason we can conclude that by following the instructions of Sri Guru and Gauranga, and dedicating our beings to their service we are simultaneously and directly please Sri Radhe, and therefore the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is concurrently one and different from his spiritual expansions.

In the TOVP, our chief service and resolute goal is in fulfilling this most wonderful prediction and desire of Sri Guru and Gauranga, making it a tangible reality, which will only contribute even further to the dham’s divine utopia. Through the statements of scripture, and the direction of Srila Prabhupada, this temple will be a place of pilgrimage from where devotional service to the Supreme Lord will be spread all over the world, for the next ten thousand years.

To make this brilliant prophecy an actuality, a lot of service, sweat, dedication and piles of hard work is being incorporated by our heartfelt and committed team. To help the mission donations are always welcome and encouraged… they mean a lot to us, and certainly a lot to Lord Krishna and Srila Prabhupada.
