On December 4, 2010, Jayapataka Swami graced the TOVP offices with his divine presence. We are always so ecstatic for him to visit and share his thoughts and ideas.
Jayapataka Swami has continuously been a top figure in Mayapur Dham, and he is truly invested in its bright future. We here at the offices feel more inspired to carry out the long process of building the temple each time he comes.
While His Holiness was here, he checked on the Vedic Chandelier and physical model of the dome. These two areas of the temple have been recently designed and are going through the refining stages. Jayapataka Swami also inquired about the new altar design; regarding size and height, and how the Parampara would be situated. After we showed him different samples of marble, he suggested a wonderful list of contacts for marble companies. All in all, he spent a good hour diligently asking questions and listening carefully to all of the latest updates.
After he left Sadbhuja’s office, Jayapataka Swami went to the engineering department to check in with P. Govinda Das. He asked for reports on the architects and consultants, as well as the site schedule. When the visit was over, he gave everyone his blessings and stated that he wants to continue to be involved in building the new temple. We feel so fortunate to have had darshan of His Holiness, and by his inspiring words, we now have a renewed sense of purpose!
