H.H. Gopal Krishna Goswami 75th Vyasa Puja TOVP Seva Opportunity

As early as 1969 Srila Prabhupada was already thinking of building a temple at Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s birthplace in Sridhama Mayapur. At that time ISKCON did not even have any property in Mayapur, what to speak of building a temple. Yet, the instruction to a young grhastha disciple of his, Gopal Krishna das, was clear and explicit:

“When you go to India, as you have asked me for something to do, and also you have an inclination to construct a temple somewhere in India, I would request you to consider if you can construct a temple at the birthplace of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.”

Fifty years later, following the instruction of his Gurudeva, His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami is one of the major forces behind the completion of the TOVP by 2022, and along with his disciples and temples in his charge they have contributed significantly to the project.
