Quality means excellence, the best one can find in a range of materials. It is thus a philosophy rather than a mere attribute. The difference between two objects is judged by their qualities.
We have set standards for our building materials which determine the level of acceptability. Quality Control in Construction (QCC) provides a trade based audit reporting during the construction phases of this major project. The reports we get on these tests will ensure the high quality of the materials going into the grand temple. Srila Prabhupadas vision for Mayapur included using the best materials because the best means state of the art and sustainability. This will help portray Lord Caitanyas movement in a way that all can enjoy and relate to.
We test cement cubes, perform a slump test for the concrete, an NDT for piles, and a sieve analysis for aggregate and sand. There is also a fitness test for cement and chemicals, and a tensile test for steel.
This testing is going on constantly. We do everything that needs to be done, and leave no stone unturned. The making of this temple needs to be handled with the utmost care so that future generations to come will be able to bask in the mercy of Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Pancha Tattva, Lord Nisrimhadeva, and our beloved Srila Prabhupada.
Below are photos which show the testing sites and labs.
