On March 1-2, 2024, the Nrsimhadeva Wing in the TOVP reached the first milestone and opened for all devotees to view. To celebrate the next milestone of completion, another grand celebration took place on Diwali, October 31, 2024: Jvala Nrsimhotsava, Festival of Lights for Nrsimhadeva.
This second completion celebration concluded Phase 2 of the Wing which includes the marble walls and columns, intricate flooring with beautiful inlays, and more. Phase 3 will include two floors of exhibits and paintings, and is scheduled to begin some time after the three-month-long TOVP Grand Opening from December, 2026 until Gaura Purnima, 2027.
Included in Phases 1 and 2 are the entire altar, pillars, floor, chandelier, doors, walls, and dome interior. Prior to beginning Phase 3, the next focus is the completion of the main wing of the TOVP which includes the 300’ long altar, in preparation for the relocation of all our beloved Mayapur Deities into Their new home in 2026/27.
HG Braja Vilasa prabhu, TOVP Vice Chairman and Director of Development invites everyone to visit Sridham Mayapur and see for themselves the extraordinary beauty of the Nrsimhadeva Wing, and to participate in its completion by making a donation at our Seva Opportunities page on the TOVP website.
