TOVP Middle East Tour

Ambarish Prabhu and Swaha Mataji Tour the Middle East Countries, With Folded Hands, Humble Words and Warm Hearts to Raise Funds for TOVP

Just as Srila Prabhupada had folded his hands with tears in his eyes and thanked his disciples in Mayapur for helping build the Mayapur Chandradoya Mandir, Sriman Ambarish Das and his wife Swaha Mataji this kartik month toured Vrindavan, Dubai, Bahrain and other Middle Eastern countries to raise awareness about the TOVP temple. Their humble and sincere appeal to the Hare Krishna congregation raised over 3 million dollars in pledges. As our movement is coming close to celebrating its 50^th Anniversary in 2016, they appeal to the members of ISKCON, that this is the right time to come together and offer one grand gift to Srila Prabhupada as our token of gratitude to him. For the purpose of raising funds, the TOVP team is minting commemoration coins in platinum, gold and silver, in limited quantities. This idea was welcomed by the devotees and many willingly participated in this programming, thereby pledging a collective donation of 3 million dollars. The devotees in the Middle East gave a very warm welcome to Ambarish Prabhu, and felt blessed to be in his association, and to assist him in the great work he is doing as the chairman of the project.

Lastly, the devotees honored him in a public speech by mentioning that Ambarish Prabhu has all the qualities and gifts a person can possibly have in this material world, namely: high birth, good education, bodily beauty and enormous wealth. But he lacks one quality, and that is: he does not have any ego, which naturally comes with all the above material qualities.
