His Grace Ambarisa Das - Chairman
Ambarisa das was initiated by Srila Prabhupada in 1974 in Hawaii. He is the great grandson of Henry Ford, and has been involved in numerous ISKCON projects around the world including the Bhaktivedanta Cultural Center in Detroit, the Oxford Center for Hindu Studies at Oxford University, and Srila Prabhupada’s Pushpa Samadhi in Sridham Mayapur.
Ambarisa das sits on the board of several businesses, charitable institutions and Foundations, including the Ford Motor Company Fund. He has received awards from around the world for his charitable works and support of Vedic culture. In 1976, Srila Prabhupada personally requested that Ambarisa prabhu help finance the construction of the Temple of Vedic Planetarium.
His Grace Bhavananda Das - Creative Director
Bhavananda Prabhu joined ISKCON in January, 1969 in Los Angeles and was sent to Mayapur by Prabhupada in 1971. Working as co-director under Srila Prabhupada, he was involved in the early development of Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir. He is now the creative director of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium, working closely with Ambarish Prabhu and Sadbhuja Prabhu.
His Grace Sadbhuja Das - Managing Director
Sadbhuja Das joined ISKCON in Melbourne in 1980. He served as a manager in Melbourne until 1989 then moved to Mayapur and undertook the completion of Srila Prabhupada's Pushpa Samadhi as the Project Coordinator. For 18 years he has been part of the Mayapur Project and is now heading up this massive operation as the Project Managing Director of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium.
