The #GivingTOVP 10 Day Matching Fundraiser concept was launched in 2019 from Akashaya Tritiya until Nrsimha Caturdasi. Devotees worldwide were encouraged to give a donation to help with continuing TOVP construction, especially on Akshaya Tritiya, the most auspicious Day of Giving on the Vedic calendar, and their donation would be matched by Ambarisa prabhu, TOVP Chairman, his contribution capping at $125,000. The fundraiser was so successful that it exceeded the goal of $250,000 (which included Ambarisa’s $125,000) and reached over $300,000 total.
This year Ambarisa has increased his commitment and pledged to match all donations up to $150,000. And with the momentum created by the landmark opening of the fabulous TOVP Pujari Floor on February 13, we anticipate this year’s fundraising drive to be even more fruitful. And to increase that potential and inspire all devotees further, this fundraiser will specifically fund the Grand Opening of Lord Nrsimha’s completed entire West Wing in the temple, including His finished altar.
From April 26 (Akshaya Tritiya) until May 6 (Nrsimha Caturdasi) the worldwide ISKCON congregation of devotees and followers will have yet another transcendental, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to serve this historic project by making a donation, large or small, which will be matched by Ambarisa. 108 Nrsimha bricks have also been made available to sponsor, which will be inscribed with the name of the donor and placed under His altar platform for tens of hundreds of years. All donations can go towards existing pledges and will also be matched by Ambarisa.

To make things even more exciting, if you complete your previous pledge or any new pledge of $1000 or more by December 2020, your name will be included in the special TOVP 2021 Vyasa Puja book offering to Srila Prabhupada on his 125th Anniversary Vyasa Puja. This one-of-a-kind, 12” x 17”, 44lb., 500-page, gold-leafed Vyasa Puja book will be bound and printed by the same company that created the “Astounding Bhagavad Gita” at ISKCON’s New Delhi temple, and will contain only the names of donors who have completed their pledges.
