Headed by Premavatar Gauranga prabhu, the TOVP Construction Manager, we recently began mounting the decorative stars and ribbons onto the domes, beginning with the Planetarium dome. Work is progressing rapidly and three segments have already been completed. Once completed, each segment is sealed and waterproofed insuring they will maintain their integrity and beauty for hundreds

Main Chakra Being Prepared for Installation

The gold-plating and assembling of the Main Dome Chakra is almost complete as we quickly approach their installation on February 7th. The Main Chakra is 20 feet (6 meters) in diameter, weighs about 2 tons and has over 100 parts including the Nava Yogendras (flames) which have been gold-plated and attached one by one. As

Preparation of Flags for TOVP Installation Ceremony

The victory flags for the TOVP domes are now being prepared for the installation ceremony to be hoisted along with the Chakras. This is called Dhwaja Rohan. Each flag on the dome has a different size based on shastric measurements from the Matsya Purana. Once completed, they will be further decorated with auspicious Vedic symbols

By the mercy of Mahaprabhu and the hard work of all the TOVP Team, preparation work for the Chakra installation ceremony is progressing rapidly. The Nrsimhadeva Dome Chakra is complete and now devotees are working day and night to attach the Navayogendras and the central piece of the main Chakra to the 6m (20’) frame.
