TOVP Architecture Department Report, July 2020 – In The Making

‘Lock down’ – is the first adjective that glares out during this pandemic. However, that could not be the answer for the dream project of our beloved Founder Acharya. Every day of this challenging period has been harnessed at the Architects’ Desks to ensure excellent preparedness for construction.

The conclusive exercise prior to construction is creating mockups for detailed features of inlays and carvings. It is very exciting to share with you that the stapathis have done an impeccable job carefully choosing the appropriate stone pieces, whose grain direction compliments the design flow. This exercise is captured in the report, and done at zero cost by the stapathi in great partnership with our team. The mock ups have been a great success!

Additionally, the Sandstone vendors are ready with manufacturing and carving of the elements contracted to them. The good news is that it is now complete and awaits indication from us to be dispatched.
