Since the ToVP is a progressive and dynamic project, there is always something happening to capture awe and strike wonder. Recently, it has been a milestone reached in the construction of the super structure. The big dome, central to the temple's design, is on the cusp of being built. As the first photograph shows, the top floor has been completed and now the columns reinforcing the dome are taking shape. The current development of the temple can be seen in the next photograph. This external view showcases the utility floor, the pujari floor, the temple room floor, the 1st through to 3rd floors and the museum floor. The dome will begin from the top and will rise approximately 108 meters. This is an exciting time at the ToVP and a monumental point in the history of this project.

One of our team members recently went over the Jalangi River, to Swarupganj, to see how big the temple looked from that side... and it's now bigger than Srila Prabhupada's Samadhi without the domes! Swarupganj is where Bhakti Vinod Thakuras house is located and if one goes there and peers through his bedroom window, one will see exactly what he saw for the vision of Mayapur.
A week ago Sadbhuja Prabhu took a trip out to Bodrum, Turkey, to visit a white marble quarry. He had been to Turkey marble mines before and was always impressed with the quantity of marble they had on hand; "It's unbelievable to see the size of the mines and the mountains being excavated".
This time he brought home many samples for our needs – beautiful white pieces of marble that sparkle like the sun rays. Only a few places in the world carry such marble; Turkey, Greece, Vietnam and Italy. But Italy's marble is incredibly expensive and way too limited. In Turkey Sadbhuja was impressed with both the quantity and quality, and is looking forward to bringing back large slabs back to Mayapur to use for the ToVP.
This photo was taken in Srila Prabhupada's garden behind the Pancha-Tattva extention. You can see Lord Nrsimhadeva's wing starting to come up with a vengeance. They are practically finished with this part and in a short time His dome will start to manifest. Lord Nrsimhadeva's wing will be as mighty as He is!
The boat festival has been going on for some time now and every evening Sri Sri Radha Madhava get into Their swan boat and take a ride around Srila Prabhupada's lake. The multi-colored lights and colorful banners above the festival really make it a special and fun celebration for all to see.
Recently Sadbhuja Das scaled a part of the Samadhi to get a birds-eye-view of how the temple looks from this angle. The feeling that the ToVP gives off in the background is simply elating. To watch Sri Sri Radha Madhava relax in Their boat in the shadow of Their future home, which is so grand and elegant, gives all the devotees a feeling of immense surrender and reverence.
TToday His Holiness Bhakti Vidya Purna Swami graced the ToVP offices to discuss designing the yajna shala for the temple. The shala is going to be facing the temple and have openings in four directions and will be visible for the public all around it.
It was strictly business with Maharaja and the architecture team in Sadbhuja’s office for about an hour, and then off to the site to see progress made. But Maharaja made a quick stop at my desk to mention that the site of the ToVP is proper and that he is pleased with the progress, look and feel of it.
